Did you make this same complaint at level 10, when your weapon skill cap was 50, did you just never notice that weapon skill caps are level*5, or did you buy your L60 on eBay and not know?

Then your bow skill is not capped at 300, it is capped at 220 (unless you are a Troll and get +5 to bow skills due to a racial ability).
If you actually look at what he is saying, he is not making a complaint.
Basically, your weapon skill can never exceed your level +5 except due to racials or possibly +weapon skill on equipment.
When you hit the cap of 350 at level 70, you can only increase it by equipping armour or weapons with +weapon skill on them. Weapon skill doesnt really make that much of a difference anyway.
There are no trainers that can increase your weapon skill cap.

I don't believe the OP deserved the heat he got for asking a question. It can be hard to remember that not everyone knows even the core stuff about the game, but the fact that they are asking seems like a clue to me.

You cannot have maxed out your bow skill at 300 when you are level 44. You cannot get 300 skill until you hit level 60. Did you look at your skills at all before posting, or did you just assume that you were at 300 skill because you were level 44?
