Shaman leatherworker's usually go dragonscale. dragonscale allows the LW to make mail armor, which is availiable to the shaman level 40+.

Dragonscale for sure.

Shaman and hunters go dragonscale becasue of the mail armor. Also gives nice stat bonuses. The first BoP things you can make (dragonstrike leggings) come at 265 skill and are very nice.

Drop LW and go BS
weaponsmith/armorsmith has nice stuff for you, LW isnt worth it as much as it used to be pre bc

Not fully true, leatherworking is still nice, at 375 theres the 2 bop dragonscale leatherworking sets, both are nice. Ebon Netherscale, and Netherstrike. Both seem viable to a shaman, depending on spec and all. Also, theres the 9 or so epic patterns, world dropped, lvl 365 leatherworking, that are nice. Those bop sets at 375 make dragonscale worth it.
