It seems that it takes forever because I dont know where a good place to get the mats I need is. Am I gonna have to go thru Wailing Caverns a million times (Im lvl 20 btw) or is there something else I can do? Help me pls!

You can always purchase the mats on AH or purchase items that will DE to the mats you need. Either way it's not going to be a cheap process. Here's a guide on how to quickly level up your enchanting skill with minimal mats.

If you can't find the mats you need here's a chart showing what items DE into. Generally the dust is from armor and the essence is from weapons, though it can randomly be anything.

Level 01-10: A little strange dust/lesser magic essence.
Level 11-15: Much strange dust/greater magic essence.
Level 16-20: Much strange dust/lesser astral essence.
Level 21-25: Little soul dust/greater astral essence.
Level 26-30: Much soul dust/lesser mystic essence.
Level 31-35: Little vision dust/greater mystic essence.
Level 36-40: Much vision dust/lesser nether essence.
Level 41-45: Little dream dust/greater nether essence.
Level 46-50: Much dream dust/lesser eternal essence.
Level 51-55: Little illusion dust/greater eternal essence.
Level 56-60: Much illusion dust/greater eternal essence.

What is your other profession? You can help offset the cost of enchanting by picking up a gathering professions like mining or skinning. Also sell off whatever mats you no longer need to use to level to recoup a few extra silver.

Leveling up Enchanting is going to cost you time and/or money. There's no way around this really. You're doing well to be at skill 100 at level 20, though.

I followed this leveling guide to get to a skill of 290 so far:

It has not been cheap but I've also avoided grinding for disenchanting mats in instances. I've gone the more efficient way of buying cheap greens off the AH and DE'ing for my mats (and selling some as well).

Really, your enchanting should be 5*level, so it's pretty good for your level. Enchanting isn't exactly the easiest to level (nor is BS), but just go into town every now and then and sell some enchants or give it away (since it's pretty cheap or ask for like 5s)

not really. Your enchanting should be at the cap as fast as you can cap it. that means that at L10, you should be at 150 enchanting. At L20, you should be at 225 enchanting. Ar L35, you should be at 275. THAT'S the point where it starts getting expensive. However, at 275, you will be able to disenchant anything in the game. Up until then (like Thermalnoise said) your mats should be a side effect if AH disenchants. Sell the mats you don't use, and you'll make lots (LOTS!) of gold.

Hitting 150 enchanting at lvl 10 may be possible, but it's not exactly realistic for the average player. It would require buying a significant amount of materials or DE items... in other words, spending amounts of money that 99% of non-alt players simply don't come close to at that level.

How many green drop does the average level 10 player see? Not even enough to DE and sell to build a bankroll.

Buy one green, DE, and sell mats for double the cost of buying the green. Repeat ad infinitum until you laugh at level 70s trying to scrap change together for a flying mount.

Getting to 225 plus is pretty tricky under level 40 (unless you port to Shatt) as you have to venture into Uldman so you'll aggro from a mile away.

The trainer at Uldaman won't teach you unless you're L35.

yep. That's how I got to 150 at L10 and 225 at L20. Both were done in single sessions, using leftover mats from disenchanting. Since I didn't use all of the stuff I'd disenchanted, I still ended up making money.

Thousands of greens are available to any level player on the AH. Most of them won't net you a profit, but the ones that do will at least double your available gold 24 hours after every visit to the AH.
