Hello everyone. I am for the most part a NOOB to WOW so I have a few questions that probably have already been addressed at one time. One of my trade skills is enchanting.
1) Has anyone compiled a list of ALL the mats that an enchanter can expect to see in WOW? (i.e all the different Dust, Essence, Shards etc.)
2) When using Enchantrix, an item on AH DE 80% into Greater Magic Essence and sells for 10s, while GME sells for 25s on AH, so thats 10s profit (minus AH charge). Therefore, my question is has anyone compiled a list of mats and the buy price in order to DE? In the previous example GME could be bought for a reasonable 15s or lower. Of course you could always get one of the OTHER mats, which usually, but not always sell for more than the highest percent item. (I know each server is different.)
3) Has anyone compiled a sales list of enchants that an enchanter should charge in order to enchant?
4) Last, does this link provide all the possible enchants which are learnable via training or formula? http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/guides.html?guide=509

For 2 & 3 it's too dependent on your server to be answered on a forum. But you have the right idea about looking for what gear to DE for profit.

Edit: Here's a guide to where pre-Burning Crusade dusts, essences and shards come from.
Dust and Essence:
Generally the dust is from armor and the essence is from weapons, though it can randomly be anything.
Level 01-10: A little strange dust/lesser magic essence.
Level 11-15: Much strange dust/greater magic essence.
Level 16-20: Much strange dust/lesser astral essence.
Level 21-25: Little soul dust/greater astral essence.
Level 26-30: Much soul dust/lesser mystic essence.
Level 31-35: Little vision dust/greater mystic essence.
Level 36-40: Much vision dust/lesser nether essence.
Level 41-45: Little dream dust/greater nether essence.
Level 46-50: Much dream dust/lesser eternal essence.
Level 51-55: Little illusion dust/greater eternal essence.
Level 56-60: Much illusion dust/greater eternal essence.
Shards:
Shards come from blue or purple items (they can come from greens, but don't count on it).
Level 01-20: Small glimmering.
Level 21-25: Large glimmering.
Level 26-30: Small glowing.
Level 31-35: Large glowing.
Level 36-40: Small radiant.
Level 41-45: Large radiant.
Level 46-50: Small brilliant.
Level 51-60: Large brilliant.
Also, epics 51-60 (I think) from old-world content can DE into Nexus Crystal.
In terms of the new gear, I don't know of a similar breakdown yet.

farming money only trough disenchanting :) 100-200g per day when its good offer in AH for green items for good cheap price.
