I want to see if anybody can verify this.
I saw in another thread that you can switch professions by dropping tailoring and releveling. Before I do this, can anybody confirm that this will actually work?

Unfortunately, I can indeed confirm that it works. What an awful thing for Blizz to do to us :(
But yes, I dropped tailoring and once I got it back to 350 I have the option to learn another spec now, but in addition to you having to relevel tailoring you also have to pay them 20g to learn a new one. It's just great :)
