Greetings All...
I am just inquiring on how much you JC masters are charging to cut other people's green level gems, blue level gems and meta gems...
I asked because this guy refused to give more then 50s to cut a blue lvl gem for him when I asked for 2g... which frusterates me because these patterns cost 175-500g each... : /
Should I be asking more or less for my services to cut these precious gems?

On a serious note though, regardless of the profession, some people will just never understand the cost that is involved in leveling it to the point of being useful in making the really good stuff.
Easy answer. If he doesn't want to pay... tell him to find another JC that will do it for 50s. Ask him if that 1.5g he is "saving" is worth having to spend all the extra time it'll take him to find another JC with that skill level that can cut the specific gem he wants. Even if it'll help level your profession, I can't see doing it for free or next nothing. With Outlands basically being an ATM machine that just vomits gold, there is no reason why someone that needs to have a gem cut can't find a few gold in there pocket to pay for the service.

yeah I know what you mean because I dropped Enchanting for JC because of all that fuss...

If they can find someone else to cut it for less, fine. I don't waste my time for free.
