Where to mine gold?Follow

As I recall, gold, silver...and something higher up...are rare spawns of other veins. Like...silver is rare spawn of Tin. One of the mining guides on here says which spawns which, I believe. Hard to target those ore.

Silver is a a rare spawn of a tin vein.
Gold is a rare spawn of an Iron vein
Truesilver is a rare spawn of a Mithril vein.
Arcane Crystals are rare drops in Thorium veins.

Dark Iron is a rare spawn of mithril or thorium that occurs only in the Burning Steppes and Searing gorge (although there are also Dark Iron veins in instances that are not usually mithril or thorium)
And Khorium is a rare spawn of Fel Iron or Adamantite
