breastplate/bulwark of kingFollow

the armorsmith specialty armor Breastplate of kings has 2 up[grades to it, bulwark of kings and bulwark of ancient kings. Each requiring the previous version to make the next.

if i make breastplate of kings and socket gems in it, when i use it to make the bulwark of kings, do the gems get eaten or are they on my finished bulwark of kings?


also, saw a post about resocketing gems, at the loss of the previous socketed gem, can anyone confirm this?
