Need money look no further than fishingFollow

#1 Mar 21 2007 at 4:33 AM Rating: Decent
In outlands, I make around 15g a stack of fish sticks, the bluefins go for 10g a stack, and the primal waters for for 30-40g a pop. so if you need money look no further than fishing. My guildies used to mock my 1337 fishing skilz, now they depend on me for fish food buffs and primal water.

I know the grind 1-300 sucks (excluding STV lvish fishing great money maker on those wrecks) but the amount of money i can make in 1 day of fishing is making people take up fishing in order to make money.

SO PLS fish and have fun

You're right. I have a guildy friend who made 30g per 2 hours in Azhara.
Having said that fishing is pretty tedious. You sit there for 20 seconds and then click. Time after time. With fishing buddy it's better because you can watch the TV and click when you hear you've caught something.

argh i hate fishing. I guess if i put some music on and talking in guild a bit i could do it : /

If i didnt have the guild im in i would have quit WoW long time ago(there was a point at which i was trying to redo professions, levle a ~16ish pet to my level, and get money at the same time really. I ended up with Herb/alch, new pet, and not caring a huge amount about money till now at level 51(i was about 40 at the time).

It's no more boring, to me, than grinding unchallenging mobs for drops. The differences being fewer mouse clicks and a better ability to guild chat while doing it.

Boring, but lucrative. Yesterday, I made 60G from just visiting all the fishing holes in Tanaris. I started North of Steamwheedle port, fished all the way to the final hole at Land's End Beach, and worked my way back.

result: 30 Stonescale, 43 Oily Blackmouth, 32 Firefin, 41 Rugged Leather, 22 bolts of Runecloth, 6 green drops, + bunches of other stuff. It took me a little over an hour to do this.

Well, i tried and failed because i was at like 140 and so i went to barrens, started fishing. A BE rogue or something comes up and /spits on the ground right next to me and starts fishing in my hole. I didnt care much, then i bring my pet out and /point to my pet and then to him. I /duel him. This is when i send my pet in and he starts getting to about half hp(he was like level 38 i think and i was 52, wasnt using any pet abilities either. So as im sittin there watching my pet chomp his limbs off the moron BE runs backwards . . . right into like 3 Centaur. I didnt know whether to help him or not but i didnt care much(i have little sympathy for horde for the most part) and i started laughing. Long story short i got my fishing skill to 160 or something and watched a poor elfy kill himself.
