I have done a search for this subject but no luck. None of the books can help so can someone here help?

My son is a JC and has recipes that require a cut gem as part of the recipe, but he doesn't know how to do this. He has a largish collection of gems.
Is it a level criteria or is there a recipe for this and if so, where can he get it?

Thanks for any help.

If it is the famous "cut citrine" then this is a bug - such a thing does not exist and the recipe can not be used to make anything, at least not until they fix it.

If it is something else, then you need to give us more details.

i believe that to cut gems there is a skill requirement i have a few redipes that require j/c 305'ish. and i think you must purchase the "simple grinder" thing from the j/c merchant. not positive as my crafter is only around skill 200. iddie.

Yeah it sounds to me like the cut citrine problem, but honestly that's a really vague post. Post what he's trying to make and we might be able to help you.

Thanks for the responses and sorry for the delay answering. Yes it was for a cut citrine so he might as well throw the recipe away

I'll let him know about the simple grinder from the JC merchant. He is a level 225 at the moment. Now I can get on with grinding my way to level 60 with my Orc warrior and picking daisies and making drugs. :)

Thanks again.

I wouldn't throw away the recipie, go ahead and learn it, who knows blizzard might update it to regular citrine or make a cut citrine in the future.
