What class?

Generally, you're gonna want to build up stamina so you can take more hits. For weapon enchants, +dmg or something like +agility probably. Hardcore twinkers would go for crusader though

As Torux said your class has a lot to do with what enchants you get. Also the amount of money you are looking to spend on your "twink".

All require level 60.

I would also add that if you are making a Mage Twink at that level then getting + INT to your weapon would be a better choice than damage and definitely a better choice than going with Crusader. Personally with my rogue I have main hand, fiery, off hand icy.

The silver spellthread can be applied to gear of ANY level. However, you have to be 60+ to apply it. So, you buy the spellthread, give it and the armor to a 60+ friend and have them do it for you and give it back. I haven't tried doing it on soulbound items in the Will Not be Traded slot, so I have no idea if that would work.

And yes, I know this from experience, just did it for a level 19 the other day after they bought my thread from the AH and couldn't use it.

Would this apply to other things such as clefthide leg armor?

+Agil for hunters. Fiery/Agil/Lifestealing/Crusader for rogues.
