I have seen alot of mobs that can be "skinned" with herblore but i am tring to find mobs that can be "skinned" with mining. I prefer non elites because of the 1 or 2 that i know of they are all elites.
So far, the only ones I've found in any quantity are the colossusses (colossi?) next to the Temple of Telhamut. The others have all been bosses. As you say, however, these are elites.

Doesnt seam fair to me, because herb is so much easyer to do and find than mining to start with. Now miners get it in the rear again with this new addition of Mineable mobs but ours are elites and few of those where in herb there are many you can farm from that are fairly easy to kill. That is why i was asking i was hoping i had missed something somewhere.
It is still a nice addition, and mining was always one of the most profitable professions, even more now when you can find motes and rare gems. So no reason to complain, really.
And practically all mobs in the new dungeons are for some reason NOT skinnable, so if you can mine a killed boss for quite a lot of good stuff, you are ahead.
