Hello, i got 325 skill in enchanting and got skinning(375). While i do lot of gold with skinning with enchanting is not that case. While i hunt arouund doing skinning i pass lot and lot of rich adamantite deposits and wish i have mining to mine it, becouse those mining mats go for nice sum in ah.
What would you advice me, to keep enchanting( only thing i see worthwile keeping it for is enchanting my rings that cannot be enchanted by anyone but yourself- even tho those enchants you can do only to yourself on rings arent something thats so "uber" ) or to start over mining ( for gold making )?

I'm no expert as I'm still a bit new, but it seems to me it probably took quite a bit of work to get your enchanting that high and it would be a shame to drop it. I would say if you're seriously thinking of dropping one to take mining then drop the skinning. You could always start a new toon and take mining. Even mining copper as a lowbie can make you some money. Doesn't take long to get up to iron and mithril, but probably would take a while to get up to thorium and adamantite and such.

Yes it took me a while to get to 320 skill in enchanting but it isnt making any money, thats why i think of getting mining wich proly will seeing that mining mats go for lot in ah. Aslo i can proly do 1-375 skill in mining in 2-3 days so thats not problem.
Like i said only thing i see keeping enchanting for is those enchants on rings that can only enchanter have but dont know if thats worth having it for since those enchants arent so special and cost ton of gold to make.

If making money is your priority then the two gathering professions are the way to go.
Mining from 1-375 in a couple days? That makes me so sad =(. It's taken me forever to get from 220-249. But then again I'm only level 42. Just one more point for that Thorium...

There are threads on this forum, both are on the first 1-3 pages, about making money with Enchanting. Let me give you a clue: You don't make money Enchanting. You make money Disenchanting.

I know that gold lies in disenchanting, thats what i been doing before patch came out. It was now rather difficult without addons. Now i see that enchantrix and auctioneer is up and running again and i will give it another go.
