Skinning help pleaseFollow

#1 Feb 28 2007 at 1:45 AM Rating: Decent
Hope someone can help - I read the guides here and also looked at the list of trainers section of the site but I can't find any info on how to get skinning above 300 - where is the trainer (Horde) - anyone have any idea?

Once I find the trainer then I think I know the right monsters to skin but its just finding that trainer :)

Thanks
Wiry

There's one in Thrallmar and another in Lower City, Shattrath.

thanks - so those are both in outland are they? And I can't get there until level 58...? guess I have to stop skinning then :(

Is this the same for all skills - i.e. to get beyond 300 you have to visit Outlands?

Thanks

You have to be level 58+ to walk through the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands. You can be summoned or portaled to the Outlands at any level, however. All the trainers for Master professions (300+) are in the Outlands. But, First Aid, Cooking, and Fishing are trained higher via books that can be bought and mailed to a character "stuck" on Azeroth.

Why stop skinning? Leather still sells.

Almost. The three secondary professions are learned from books which you may find occasionally on the AH. All others are trained in the outlands.

The prereq to learn Master skill is to be lvl 50 and to have a skill of 275 (this is from wowwiki, I have not had the opportunity to verify that yet).

Therefore it should be possible to get a summon from a warlock at lvl 50 and train master skill. Actually I'm going to try it soon :)
