I dont think you can, even if you could it wont work. To wear the 3 part speciality set you need to have the associated speciality. So if you want to wear the Mooncloth set you need to have the Mooncloth Tailoring speciality.

I am in exactly the same position. I took Shadow to level up from 60 to 70. I've been getting a set of decent healing gear together (now +1053 with just one of the primal items) and will complete the 3 set. However I'd like to remain shadow for a while longer and the tailored items seem an excellent way to go.

My understanding is the same as the above poster - you can only wear the specialised BoP items you make if you still have that specialism. Changing specialisms won't destroy the items and you could wear the new ones, but just won't be able to equip the old ones (like trying to wear mail when you're a clothie).

Annoying, eh?

ye, but it is possible to change tail spec ? example: i want to pwn some n00b so i respec to shadow, make some shadoweave gear, wear it, then i go to raids and respec to holy and make some primal mooncloth items (wear them), then when i want to pwn n00bs again i respec to shadoweave tail again... if it is pissible to do that ?

Is the best I can find on teh O-boards.

So it would seem to respec you need to relearn the whole profession.

As for "pwning n00bs", if you are any good you can do that in the green/blue quest drops you get in TBC. Though it would seem to be a somewhat futile exercise, try taking on touher challenges than slapping up some ebayed losers :)

I've had this problem. I thought my guild would force me to respecc Holy, so I chose Mooncloth Tailoring. Made the first part, and realised thye would let me spec shadow.

So I had to drop tailoring, and re-level it from 0. I did that, and now I cant wear the single Mooncloth item I made. So I had to disenchant it, and sold the Void Crystal.

It sucks, but you can only wear these items if you currently have this tailoring specialisation. Otherwise, you can't even wear it.

So.... choose carefully.
