I'm having some trouble getting my Leatherworking above 355 because it seems as if every yellow pattern I have requires a bunch of primal elements to make. Does anyone know if there are any patterns that I could get in which I could use to skill up that don't require primals or anything that expensive?
i cant find any, go get the pattern for shadow armor kit or nature armor kit in an instance and since shadow/life primals are easy they are yellow to me at 352 to make, they give +8 shadow/nature resist to a chest/leg/foot/hand slot
other then that, post ur skill in trade and try to do combines for people with their mats, ive gotten a few skill ups that way.

hi there, as a 375 dragonscale worker on SSL. i had huge problems with this but the way around seem to be thick clefthoof boots, just kill all clefthoofs and earth elemental in nagrond (its a long grind but better/quicker than some of the other patterns that require primal nethers!)

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try both methods.
I reached 365 on fel leather gloves and riding crop. Riding crop is still yellow at 365, which is nice. Other than that, I am also looking at thick clefthoof set as a possible way to climb higher, but I am not certain it is worth so much effort to get to 375. The primal might set is really expensive to make - maybe it is better to wait for epic loot.
