Like a range of what an item should roughly go for on the AH.

Download that add-on. That'll give you all you'll ever need at the AH.

There are AH averages listed on the item info page. However, that data is not server specific so you are better off running Auctioneer to collect pricing info specific to your server.

The version of Auctioneer on Curse Gaming hasn't been updated in a while and may not work with the current version of WoW. You may want to download it directly from the Auctioneer web site to be sure you get the latest version:

True - it is all going to depend on how well the items sell on your server. I always check the AH first and see what the going price for that item is or something similar. I will also go to the merchant and see what they offer to buy, and then mark up anyway from 20%-40%. I almost always sell things on the first try. If not I either put back in or take a little off and it sells.

But the biggest part is of course the demand of your server.

I understand all that but was trying to figure out ore prices persay. I notice on my server (dark iron) that bars of any type seems real low from steel bars for 5 gold to 20 gold bars for 12. Fel iron doesn't seem to sell at all even at 17.

I understand that with jewelcrafting more people took up mining. but was trying to gauge if I should create felsteel or sell the fel iron bar and the etmaniumiumwhatever bar seperatly or just sell it as ore.

Our suggestions apply no matter what you want to price.

It really boils down to supply and demand. There is a standard price range for things, but i f the AH is overlaoded with something,,, the prices will be lower. I have maxed out my bank slot and use alts to hold things if the AH is too full. The price will come back to you and you'll pay for the bank slots in a hurry.

you can use www.wowecon.com as well. You can specify the server on that site. Personally, I like it over auctioneer as you never have to scan.
