im kinda new to WoW and iv been looking around on this forum and noticed people were saying you could drop a proffesion so i have to ask. how do you drop a proffesion?
Uhhmm.. never done it but if i'm correct get your character screen and go to the skill tab, mouse over the skill you want to drop and right click to get the option to drop it or something like that....
maybe somebody can confirm that?

Go into your Character Info screen in-game
Click on the Skill Tab (along the bottom)
See where it lists your current professions? There is a little button next to each with a circle and a line through. Click on that.
It will ask if you if you want to unlearn X profession. Click Yes.
All done :)
