Wool clothFollow

#1 Feb 13 2007 at 6:06 PM Rating: Decent
My tailoring skill is a little ways from wool, but I've been skinning a couple critters (sheep) for the wool I get from them. Now, is the wool from sheep the same as wool cloth for tailoring? Or am I just dreaming? Any thoughts would be great, thank you.

The wool you get from sheep is the same wool you use for tailoring but skinning sheep isn't a reliable way to get wool. Most of the time, those poor sheep give ruined leather scraps.

Thanks to you both for answering. And yes, most of the time I get ruined leather from the sheeps, but since I'm still low level (11), it's nice to get the occasional wool for when that tailoring level comes :)

The best wool drops I get are from Westfall by far-particularly the higher level gnolls in the southern camps. On a related note I found out that the Rams in Loch Modan are a great place to raise skill with a missile weapon (assuming you are level 10-20 or so) They take about 4 shots to kill (using a Hunters Muzzle loader at lvl 13) and dont attack which means that you can just keep on firing away! Got my guns skill up in no time. Hmmm......anyone know if they drop wool?

I dont know if your horde or ally, but i always get a lot of wool from the goblings in the Sludge Fen, or the Farmers in Hillsbrad
