Tailoring/EngineeringFollow

This is not my main's profession, it is my alt's. She is my lvl 10 (See sig) and what I am wondering is should I stay with the 150 skill limit for my level while first getting my Main to level 35 so I can max out his alchemy/herbalism? He has 225 Alchamy and 155ish herbalism and the alchamy is at a standstill and would like to get it higher but on my alt I want to be able to make bigger bags. My alt is helpful since she can give other alts I make good bags from the getgo and can make better if I advance her first but alchamy/herbalism is pretty good money. What should I do? And are tailor/enginner and herb/alchamy good combos?

It seems that with TBC out all "old" professions (that is below 300 skill and in the old lands) are now dead - except mining, which brings now insane amount of cash. There was a big turmoil in tailoring when a rush for 16x bags started, but that is probably getting over now, as all aim for 18x bags. I have also made a lot of cash disenchanting items lvl50+, but I see it dying out too now.

So, I think the time of low level alt "workers" is over. They need to be able to get to Outlands to learn any useful skills.
