Vendor sold recipesFollow

Is there a website or list someone can point me to that shows all the recipes that are bought through vendors? One that had the vendor name and items sold, is prefered.

If you click on "Trade skills...By Trade" in the box to the left, it will give you a list of everything a particular profession can produce. Beneath each product will be something like <Plans: ...> if they are not obtained directly from the trainer. Clicking on that link will tell you where the plans are sold or where they have been dropped. The ones in white are all sold by vendors, and it's possible that with the 2.0 updates, some of the green ones may also be sold now. Ordinarily, the green, blue, and purple ones are either drops or obtained based on rep from faction vendors.

It's an addon that'll show recipe vendors on your map when nearby. You can also search for them via its interface.

May not be fully updated for TBC vendors though.

Another nice recipe mod - Fizzwidget's Adspace.

http://www.fizzwidget.com/adspace/

It adds tooltip info to recipes specifying if they're a drop or what NPCs sell them for what price(provided they're your faction/neutral). Usually makes at least for a quick check to see if something on the AH is a total ripoff or not if it's NPC sold.

I believe Auctioneer lists vendor recipes with white names and others with drops when viewing the AH.
