Hello all! Im fairly green to wow and had a few questions concerning my skill training.
The cooking an fishing I got figured out at least to 225.For now thats good enough. For first aid,how important is this?
Im a tailor an enchanter so I use my mats for those, should i be putting some time into first aid.Keep in mind Im a lock so to me it seemed like I had self healing pretty much covered with soulstone rez and healthstones, also life tap!

An enchanting,LOL!What an expensive skill this turned out to be,but i still like it!I have been running areas with lvls upto 5 higher than me for mat drops. This seems like its working ok,but my enchanting is falling behind my other skills dramatically!I run solo most of the time and would just like to know a descent place to get greens to lvl a little faster.

Ty in advance for any help at all.

First Aid can be very helpful when it comes to PvP and Instances where you have about 5 seconds of downtime to get a bit of health back.

As for your profession choices, Enchanting is very expensive.

You did not mention what level you were.

I would recommend, that is if you want to make money, to either drop a profession and pick up a gathering one (mining/herbalism/skinning) and once you hit 60 (and have some nice pocket change) and some left over from buying your epic mount training you can switch to one of the most expensive trade skills in the game (enchanting) to level it.

Ty,useful info indeed.Im at 210 enchanting atm.Right now Im making a little money off of it only cause my 2 brothers (1 A BS AND 1 A LC)are making items for me to disenchant an enchant to sell on ah.We split the profit minus mats and make about 3g a day atm all of us r under lvl 30 and I dont really know if this is good for our lvls.Seems to be working out ok but I might consider mining as this seems to produce mats for all skills!Thnxs again!

I will have to say that First Aid is the most important skill in the game, you can heal while OOM(or when the Healer is OOM) when folks are silenced.

First Aid > Tailoring. Period.

Before using any mats on tailoring, I level first aid. It's more important than any trade skill, because it keeps you from making corpse runs. That's also the reason I will usually only take tailoring as a trade skill only after I have First Aid at 300.

In my opinion, First aid is VERY good to have. I'm a level 39 rogue with 300 First aid, and it comes in handy when you're in the BGs and instancing without a priest. Also, it's much faster than eating, and fairly easy to level up. I got from 1 to 300 in about two days. Linen is easy to get of low level humanoids, while i generally bought wool at the AH. Silk is very easy to get in a SM run, where you can get more than 100 pieces within an hour. As for Mageweave, I ended up buying most of it. Runecloth is very easy to get, I generally ask my guild mates for some because they get hundreds upon hundreds of them from various mobs.
