ok so right now my skinning is 100 and hasnt gone up at all since it reached there. it says divide your skinning by 5 and that is the highest level you can skin so do i need to be skinning level 20+? because right now im level 13 and i cant kill monsters that high. hm can my skinning not go up until i level higher? and one more question :P im in skinning/LW should i replace leatherwork with herbalism or mining? which would come out with more profit?

thanks

That's right, you'll have to level up some and kill higher level mobs so that your skinning level will begin increasing again.

If you divide the Skinning level by 5, you can see the minimum level required to skin a mob at that skinning level. Ergo, if you have a skinning mob of 100, and divide by 5, you need a minimum character level of 20, as you said.

Conversely (and this is the way I calculate it), I multiply my character level by 5 to see the rough skinning level I should be at. Therefore, at level 13, it's [13 x 5 =] 65 skinning is the minimum level requirement you should be looking for, or thereabout.

Edit: Added "minimum" for clarity

so i should be at 65 skinning and not a 100? ?:| im confused now

You should be at minimum a skill level of 65. The fact that you are at 100 is good - it means you won't end up in a higher level area and unable to skin mobs!

Exactly, Thermal. :)

Sorry for any confusion... I have a tendency to know what I mean, but not always word it well.
