I play on a pvp and i am on the horde side. how can i raise my mining skill the fastest. i Had to buy 20 iron ore to get it up to there.
The problem is that I am currently hunting sun rock area and some of the things there methril u need 175 mining to get at it.

can not post the link now, but you can check the official website of WOW, and try to find the professions in the character of the game guild(left hand side), then you will know where to level it. good luck man..

Yes, I remember those mithril nodes in Charred Vale taunting me when my mining was below 175 (especially that seemingly long time I was sitting at 174).
I simply had to spend time in the areas where iron nodes spawn and get my skill up. I found my iron around Stonetalon Peak, Charred Vale and scattered around the Thousand Needles area. I think I earned a few levels just from experience killing creatures to get to the nodes so it worked out pretty well. There are also a few nodes scattered around the edge of Shimmering Flats that are relatively 'safe' to get to once you reach your upper 20s.

There are specialty ore nodes mined for quests (I forgot the names now, but Uldaman has some, Arathi highlands, Redridge, and at least one other). These give skill and spawn very fast. You should find out about them and mine them when you are in the skill range for FAST gains.
If u have the funds buy a mining +5 enchant for your gloves.
