GroupersFollow

40, 47, 53, 59, and 68 pound groupers can be caught. I have caught them a few times while fishing for various fish. However I have never known the use for this fishing item.

I did some research and found that some fish only have one use, and that is that you can equip it, and show it off take SS and what not. Otherwise they dont do anything. I have caught these fish and taken my fun SS.

However the groupers can not be held. Is this just a mistake by blizzard? Or are the groupers used for something else? Perhaps there is a fish vendor who will pay for them well? or Maybe used to get some kind of faction?

All I know is that you dont catch alot of them, and for some reason I have sold them for 1, 2, and even 3 gold at AH.

Anyone know anything about them?

Interesting, perhaps the ones Ive sold were bought by someone with lots of gold and didnt know they are wothless...

I have noticed a number of weight specific fish that cannot be held in the offhand much like the grouper, for instance I have numerous groupers and lobsters of varrying weights that cannot be equipped, and also some mightyfish aswell. Tried selling them on the AH, however they never were sold and have been accumulating in my bank alt's mailbox since my main has started pharming for eels.

I would really like to know if these have any value or use in game if anyone knows for sure.
