Herbalism LevellingFollow

#1 Nov 28 2006 at 7:54 AM Rating: Decent
So I am trying herbalism for the first time, with one of my mains, 60 pally.

I can run around Westfall and get herbalism up to 85 or so, but where do I go next? I have tried Redridge and Loch Modan, but they both are sparse with herbs.

Any ideas or links to guides anyone know of where I can get this to 250+ in short time?

Thanks

Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, or Wetlands is going to be where you want to go next. Im pretty sure there should be herbs that you can collect that at 85 herb will be orange or so.

I use the Herbalism guide found on this file listing:

Work your way into the Wetlands, then north to Arithi Highlands. Basically just keep going to areas with a little higher mobs. Ultimately you will end up in Winterspring for icecap (a money maker), as well as areas like Felwood, and plaguelands. Good luck. Herbalism has been good to me. Hope you find your first black lotus.

I would reccomend using http://www.wow-pro.com/node/611 ; I've been using it for a couple of days, and it's been great so far.

It's pretty obvious that the person who wrote the apprentice section of the guide is of the hordish persuasion. He didn't mention Elwynn Forest or Teldrassil once. That really makes it a poor guide for anyone running an Alliance character.

OK. First, I do not have an alliance character...and I am not a level 60. But, with my undead character, the furthest I even went was to The Hinterlands. I leveled up my herbalism to 300 just going there.

As undead, I started out in Tirisfal Glades, moved to Silverpine, Hillsbrad, Arathi Highlands, Blasted Lands, Tanaris, and then Hinterlands. I don't think I really did any herbalism in other places....except that Aratha's Tears and Plaguebloom can be found in the Plaguelands.
