well if ur saving up for your mount wait till u buy it before upgrading BS but look at smelting and if it says like tin last then u go mine tin ore then keep moving from there and imo u will go as farback as westfall fro tin ore. But my leather was only about 120 before i got mount and its now at 196.

At level 32, you shouldn't have any problem handling the caves in the Wetlands - one with spiders near the road has tin and incendicite, one on the other side of the zone full of raptors has tin and iron. You're right on the edge of being able to farm the northern mountain ridge of the Arathi Highlands, which has more iron.

As for blacksmithing, as others have suggested it's kind of a money sink at this level - you might want to just AH the bars until you have enough for your mount, then start worrying about skilling up BS.

Absolute best spot to up Mining Skill IMO...

Charred Vale in Stonetalon MTS...

They have everything from Copper - Truesilver there and I went from 150 to 260 spending an hour here and there for a week mining in the Charred Vale. Keep rounding the outer edge but dip in a little bit near the northern part to see if there's any veins on the rocks there too. And Mithril seems most common and it sells ok on AH, I can usually get ~2G per stack of Bars...

'Never' pass up a mine that still has green or better text below the name. Some nights I'll see 3 or 4 different Veins in one round. Eventually they may all turn into ones too high to mine (as that happened to me once, they all turned to Truesilver before I could mine it), but if that happens just head back later.

The downside. It is not 'quickly accesible' as Nigels Point and Stonetalon Peak are a little run from there.

Charred Vail is good, but Thousand Needles has a lot of Iron and some Mithril, Gold and Silver mines. I just run around the mountains in TN and go into some caves. I have also found some nice Mithril mines out in the salt flats where the bug hive is. MOB levels are from mid 20's to low 30's in TN and low to mid 30's in salt flats. Another good spot for Iron and Mithril is in the brown Yeti cave close to Tauren Mills. The cave is always good for 2-3 mines a trip and if you in there long enough more pop up.
Good luck.

Zora said it best, just get your Mining up, sell some ores and use some ores to make items for BSing.

That guide right there is a way to boost BSing up quickly and quite cheap also, along with any other profession.
