Pots, buffs and how they stackFollow

#1 Sep 12 2006 at 7:18 AM Rating: Decent
Hello All,

I have been looking for an overview of all buffs and how they do or do not stack. I have thought of doing the work myself but never came around to actually doing it.

I am looking for a file that tells me which buffs and pots stack. I know that intellect buff from mages mostly does not stack with intellect pots, but what about the blasted land buff, Dark moon fair buff, Winterspring buff etc. I know that food buffs stack with everything but not with each other ... or do they ?

I am not looking for a particular combination, I just want to see all posibilities.

in Anticipation... Axellent, Exigence, Dunemaul.

Not that it helps too much, but food and drink (drunken) buffs stack. So you can eat some food, get a buf, and down some Rumsey Rum for extra stamina as well.

It would be interesting to see :) Other things that don't stack: The resistances from Mark of the Wild and a Paladin or Priest's resistance abilities. The Pally/Priest will win out over the MotW's resistances; they won't be added.

It's not just alcohol that stacks with food. You can "drink" Nightfin Soup and eat a Tender Wolf Steak to get a stamina/spirit and mana regen buff together.

Just from my own observations:

1. The priest shadow protection buff does not stack with the paladin shadow protection aura.

2. The buff from the Blessed Sunfruit juice seems to replace food buffs.

3. Scrolls for buffs don't seem to stack with spells for the same buffs (prayer of fortitude and scroll of stamina, for example) but at least warn you that a more powerful spell is in effect.
