Selling Crafted ItemsFollow

Is the Auction House the only place to sell unwanted Crafted Items? If I don't want to go to the AH, I should just dump them to clear space?

There are some other choices.

1. Advertise on the Trade channel (only in cities) and sell directly to another player.
2. Take up Enchanting as a profession and disenchant green or better items you've crafted.
3. Sell to a vendor.
4. Advertise via other means of yelling or other chat channels. (Not recommended, it's considered poor etiquette.)

The first 2 are the best options, IMO, but sometimes 3 is the more convenient choice.

I was expecting to sell to a vendor, but they say no listed price. Do I need to find an item-specific vendor? Thank you for answering Newbie questions.

What exactly are the items you need to sell/dump?

I made some Crafted Light Shot, just to try out Engineering, but I don't want it.

Yeah, some of the stuff you'll make with Engineering cannot be sold to vendors. Only used by yourself or other players. If you don't want it, and don't want to make a trip to the AH, you'll just have to destroy it.
