Very interesting indeed...it brings more questions, like blacksmithie bags of holding :P I dunno about engineering but Smithing I know requires a spacious amount of baggies...perhaps mining and hide satchels are not out of the question?

Kind of confused overall on the trade bags. For example, as it stands Herb bags are for herbs, ennchanting bags are for mats, but in theroy would'nt a smithing or engeineering bag be caleld a Metal bag? Unlike the exesting bags, that hold raw materials, our bags would hold a hell of a lot of parts, items that were actualy porduced with the trade, stuff like truesilver transformers, or dense grinding stones. Theese items are not ore/metal(essentaly on par with a flower, or strange dust) but items that have been proudced with a tradeskill. so would the bag hold mats? or products, or both?I think this is the delema that Bliz has going on, what exactaly qualifies, and how to implement them without going nuts(cant let too little or too much go in to the bags). Next is a ballance issue, what super rare mat are you going to use to limite the producion of theese? Black lotus for example is a herb that sells for abuot 20 gold a pop, it is a ingredent in the big herb bags, and limits the production of them, what would a engineering bag use? arcnite? if so i will pass, it is worth a lot more to sell than as 4 extra bag slots so i could store 4 more "Parts".

My only precived issue with useing Core leather for a Smithing or engineering bag is concinsty(SP). As it stands, the Big Bag of Enchantment(24 slot enchanting bag), the biggest one you can make dose not use any MC or RAID ONLY mats, it uses a lot of shards, and thats no suppirese it hold enchanting mats, whey not use enchanting mats to create it. Next is the Satchel of Cenarius, the 24 slot Herb bag, it uses Black lotus, a herb, well makes sence a herb component for holding herbs.

So where dose core leather fit in to storeing Ore, Stone, gems? Wouldnt it make sence to use some mined component? sicne the herb bag uses a rare herb, a enchanting bag uses enchanting mats. My point is that to make such a bag woudl require some rare mat(that is avaialbe to the general public, and Core leather is not) that ties to the type of stuff your storing, and if that is a arcane crystal, we get the shaft.

i'd like to see a trinket slot similar to the key ring for engineers. i keep all my engineering bits in the bank anyway so the only issue i have is all the trinkets that take up lots of space in my bag.

Why not? It, IMO, is a lot better than farming for days for the 3 crystals it would take to make a bag...and considering that The core hound itself is a trash mob, I see no prob with it. Or better yet, why not arcantite? you want a rare trade good from each proffession in it? Blizz'll prolly give it to you...you'll regret it later tho, I gar-un-tee it.

If you don't raid I would suggest you start...the Burning crusade comes soon, with a level 70 cap on players and prolly higher than that for monsters...you're gonna be mush. That doesn't mean that not raiding means you're weak, just means that you may have to party up before you can go anywhere...very time consuming.

Very interesting idea...maybe make it a schematic so you can make them for other characters...for smithies too, perhaps...tho I can only really think of two things they would put on it...smithies should be able to make the regular key rings for the skeleton keys they make...LOL, a very funny picture came to mind...

ok..so, this group is going to BRD (just say) and they one who has the key also has about everyother dungeon key in existence...as they're fighting their way through everything's normal...but when they reach the door the entire group stops...Can't find the key! So the poor dude starts flipping through his keys...This one? no, no, that's the DireMaul key...this one looks familiar...o, nevermind. This goes on for a while and people begin to look around...things are respawning...They tell the dude to hurry up and go off to kill the recently spawned mobs. The dude finally finds they key, "I got it!" and tuns around, smiling to face pyros...the elite mob that spawns constantly right outside the entrance...when the party gets back... the key bearer is dead, and they call it a night.

Level 60 players in greens can handle their own just fine against mobs (non-elite) of the same level at this time. Can they not? They may not be able to solo through BRD, but they can hold their own. They are not required to group to accomplish any non-instance or elite goals.

I have no reason to believe this will change in the expansion. Level 60 players who are not epic'd out will be able to explore appropriate level areas in the new zones. I'm sure a level 60 will have a tough time if they venture into areas with level 65+ mobs, but that's to be expected. I just think are you overexaggerating the difficulty of being a "solo" player in the expansion, when nothing in the current game supports that. Of course, raiders will have it easier because of the better gear, but I don't think you'll be "mush" just because you aren't wearing Tier 1 and 2 gear.

Just my opinion.

hmmm...perhaps you're right...I just thought it would be easier to join a raid and have fun than to farm thorium in the steppes...but everyone has their preference.

As far as the "mush" part...who knows? They are bound to have some kind of event like the opening of AQ 20-40 and Naxx, don't you think? Noone could really say for sure whats out there..That was a hasty statement on my part, my bad. But one thing is for sure tho...it will be difficult for all of us, raiders or no.
