I want to help, but there are so so so many topics on this already. Please, look around the forums a bit. Some easy tidbits:

Silithus
Un'goro (herbs)
Greater Protection Potions
Fishing

Think about what you can do at or with each of those. Money-making really isn't too tough, but you will need to dedicate time to it.

agreed!! time is needed.

Although i do have same situation like you (also PvPing my way up)
What you could do is rank up to 11 and buy ur mount for 90g

Since you want to PvP...have you considered the AV exalted mount? Not too hard to get the rep for(and certainly easier that rank 11, though not quite the savings) and it's a fair bit cheaper than the regular epics.

yes i have thought about all those ideas of hitting rank 11 and getting that mount but i dont have the time to hit rank 11... and the AV mount does not look good with Taurens riding them i ono i just dont like it.. so i was going to go for my real epic mount

I respect your desire to get a war kudo, but IMHO i think Taurens look Super duper cool on frostwolfs, I found it helps keep me Lo profie , a taruen on a kudo is (Currently) by far the eazest palyer to see from a distance.

For money? it is hard to beat the twilight encrytped text if you can take farming the windstones(it is like 8x tougher on PvP servers than PvE). if you play on a pvp server, fishing is the quickest way.

and exactaly how to you come up with the money for your pvp rewards? rubbing 2 mark of honor togather and hope 50 gold shoots out of them? or is it the 8 silver on a gnome that you killed that dose it?

Even the most hard core PvP'ers know that you have to farm in some capacity if nothing for bandiads and potions(well money for druauts). The last 3 HW on my server spend more than a month farming cash so they could afford the last to months of BG'ing without cash, then they had to buy all the HW gear before they lost the rank......

fishing if you want a stress free and cost free (almost) way to farm.

stonescale eels are always a good bet. tanaris, hinterlands and aszhara are good areas to fish.

if you want to kill mobs, i suggest you try the elite vilebranch trolls in the hinterlands. mobs drop decent silver (1 - 18), mageweave cloth, some greens and wildvine. you can make anywhere about 5g per hour on the silver. the prices of the drops depend on your server. and the zone is usually deserted too. you can pretty much farm in peace.

You mean like power crystals or ungoro soil? I have made probably 100g off that in a week. Not a lot but it adds up.

In Un'Goro, you can farm herbs, skin (if you skin), farm elementals, gather soil (it sells quite well on Uldum- always people looking to get it quick for rep), fish for Lightning Eels, mine, and power crystals.

Not to mention feeding Dodanga usually gives you a major healing potion among all the foodstuffs, and occasionally something even more useful.

Well, from the comments above about pvp gear/mounts , etc, you're going to need some money either or,mining seems pretty good, but unless you are a high level, you will not make much progress,at the mid-levels you can try mining in enclosed areas such as instances,to prevent any competition coming your way.The best class to do this with is with a rogue, stealth through all the mobs,if you get in a nutshell and just cannot control that agro, vanish.Deadmines is perfect for Copper/Tin,and chances of having silver spawns too, hope this helps. I plan on making a guide to mining on this site, when I do,check it out,it just might help, and about time resrictions,an hour or so is decent to powermine and get decent change in the process. In a good hour with powermining you could have an estimated 100 bars of copper/tin,and if the AH is just not doing it,offer in trade channel as a supplier with decent prices. Good luck with MM'ing

If you can't dedicate the time, you have to resign yourself to remaining poor. It's tough, but that's the way it is in real life, too.

pvp and no time to farm? well, go for rank 11 as fast as you can. epic mount costs about 90g (not sure if discounts apply). with x-realms bg that should take too long.
