I am Priest 17Lvl and i have skil 50 in fishing.Where I must fish now so my skil can grow? I tried oases in Durotar and Barrens somewhere I can wish(thunder bluf) but in oasas it write to me "your fish get awae.....what i must do to fish here?i have strong fishing pole and i using fishing lure.Please help me....and sory for my english....:)
You should buy some lures if you want to fish in the Oases. Anywhere you can successfully catch fish will give you skillups, including in a "lowbie" zone like the racial starting areas (Teldrassil, Dun Murogh, Elwynn Forest, Durotar, Mulgore, and Tirisfal Glade) or a major city. If you wanted, you could fish from 1-300 in the waters of a capital city (excluding the quest to gain Artisan fishing).

Your problem is that your fishing skill is simply not high enough to fish in the area that you are trying to fish in. Even with the lures you are using your skill is still not high enough to keep the fish from getting away. You need to go back to a lower level zone and level up your fishing.
Here’s what I do when trying to level up my fishing skill. I’ll go to a low level zone, such as my starting area, and find a spot near the water but away from other players. I’ll then go into my audio interface and turn off all the sounds except for those near my character. I can then turn the volume up much higher. Then I’ll either pull out a good book to read or find something good to watch on television and start fishing. When I cast my line I place my pointer over my bobber. Then, when I hear the splash, I’ll stop reading/watching TV long enough to click on the bobber, loot my fish and cast my line again. It’s amazing how quickly my fishing skill will increase when I’m also reading a good book.

Go back to Durotar. Get additional training from the fishing trainer (at 50, you can get additional training to make your max skill 150 instead of 75). Then fish in the water by the trainer until you get to 100. It won't take long. AT 100 skill, you can use much better lures than you can at 50. Buy the better lures, and then head back to the oases.

But I already have journeyman and apperience fishing.From skil 0 to 50 i fishing in small lake in Thunder Bluff,when i have 50 I went to barrens oases but there it write to me your fish gone away.....I using Strong Fishing Pole and i using best lures for that skil.....i tried oasis in barrens,stonebull lake,some lakes in stonelaton mountain,mini lakes in barrens,in barrens I can fish but my skil doesnt growing.

I thing It can be error of the server because I have journeyman fishing at skil 13 not at 50.

i have last question.When I am in barrens and i write to me your fish got away,if i fishing here again ,can my skil grow?Perhaps after fiveteen thats messages?

I went back to Thunder bluf,get Journeyman fishing,and went to small lake at tb.But I fish here abou hour but my skil is still 50.

Did you talk to the trainer and pay for more training, like I told you to? If you don't you won't get more skill.

Trainer doesnt teach me more,I went to trainer in OG and speak with trainer but that tab with offers is empty....

You level in fishing even by fishing in your main citys rivers (Orgrimmar, TB, SW and Darnassus). It is true your fish is always the lowest loot, but 4-5 mudsnappers gives a level even at 225+. And fishing in a main city gives you rested bonus while fishing.

yesterday I fished at Thunder BLuf.I catch 177fishes but my skil is still 50 :)

If you caught that many fish and didn't go up a single level in fishing, then open a GM ticket, since there is obviously a problem with your toon.

heh I wrote to Gm ,he raise my skill to 51 so I should can fish at barrens....but i cant....still my fishes getting away:)
you're not clicking fast enough most probabally. I can fish there at 50 no problem myself. (with only one 50 lure) i press the button to pull the fish up right as the bobbler drops though so prob a 1 to .5 sec delay for me from the bobbler. got to 120 that way before I got bored, went over to bb, bought the best lure bought the fishing book for 125 and and went fishing . with the +5 fishing pole. first 1 got away, and I missed 1 in 3 for the first 20 but it was smooth fishing after that.
you can skill up anywhere. be prepared with your gear: lure, pole and whatever enchants you can find.
you can fish in org to get your skill up with minimum failure. i kept fishing there till i hit 200+. just be patient.
