I've tried to get the quest "I know a guy..." on my lvl 49 char, however all he tells me (the cooking trainer in IF) is to talk to the guy in gagetzan, and I have no clue how to get past 225 other than that quest. : / HELP!!! (I did try talking to the butcher in gagetzan but he had no quests for me either)

The guy you want to talk to in Gadgetzan is in the inn, toward the right as you enter.

Yes I know I tried talking to him(he wants to sell me meat is all), my problem is I cannot get the quest (not from the cooking trainer in IF either). I'm thinking glitch, but possibly I'm doing something wrong?
Your cooking skill has to be at 225 before he will give you the quest. I know, I tried at 223 :).
his name is kizik or something. and the cooking skill has to be 225. the quest is fairly easy: 20 alterac cheese, 12 giant egg and 15 zesty clam meat. you can buy most of the items in the AH.

name of the questgiver is dirge quikcleave, located at the gadgetzan inn. have to be level 35+ and cooking skill of 225.
