Gnomish/Goblin Engineering RewardFollow

#1 Aug 08 2006 at 7:30 AM Rating: Decent
I just had to post this. I FINALLY got my Lil'Smoky schematic yesterday. Finally after renewing my gnomish registration thing 150 times. So it cost me exactly 300g to get this freakin schematic! Now I only got 3 schematics left but sadly all 3 are in MC, which a) we never run anymore, and b) never drop!

Congratulations!

I have two engineers, both gnomish, and I’ve yet to get that schematic on either of them. I’ve not invested a lot of money as of yet. I usually forget about it for long periods of time. But I am looking forward to getting one at some point in the future.

Reletivly simple, level gnomish, build your items that are all cooldown based.

Drop engineering

Relevel and take goblin the second time. I have only done it on 1 of my engineers as of yet(the rest have too much time and $$$ in to recipes). If you do this from the start and avoid learning the expensive goodins it can be done eazaly. Unfortuanly Ogrekarl, I know you have invested a lot of energy in to fillign out your book, doing this will reset all your learned recipies and require you to get them all again. Thats why it works better when it is the plan from the start. I would never do it with one of the higher level toons i have becaus i would loose precious stuff. for example i dont do much raiding on my lock theese days, droping eng would mean loosing Biznicks 247x128 Accurascope plans, and heck i had them though the time that they were removed from the game(what about 6 months this bugger didnt drop?).

Yeah I had a lot of the rare/expensive plans before they added the ability to respec. However, I thought that the pet one required gnomish or goblin engineering to actually learn? Guess I had that wrong. And I was too excited when I got the plans to even look. Like you said though, there is no way I'm gonna turn back now.
