Keep Alchemy? Or go with enchanting?Follow

Okay...so i'm a level 40 warrior now, just got my mount. I'm level 241 alchemy currently, haven't gotten into the transmutes and stuff like that yet. And i was wondering when i get lvl 45, should i continue on with Alchemy, or switch to Enchanting. I have around 15-20 Blues saved up for disenchanting. Now i've noticed that you can make various rods, what exactly are these used for, just wondering. Anyways...i am also a lvl 278 herbalist and i am not making any money outta that because all my herbs (except a few stacks of blindweed) have gone to alchemy...my main question is should i do it at 45, or wait until 50, or not do it at all. Because i have found alchemy of no money making at all! Thanks i hope your input will help me.

Transmutes bring good, steady money. At higher level you will also have a steady market for certain potions, greater mana, fire prot and such. You will neeed to research you realm's economy to determine what sells.

For enchants to bring in money you will need the rarer ones, +15 agi, +25 agi, crusader, spell power and the like. These tends to require a lot of rep grinding, a lot of luck in the mob drops or a lot of cash.

If it was me I would keep Alchemy until lvl 60. At that level you could solo a lot of instances to get items to DE if you decide to change over.

All just MO ofc.
