I did a search on Felcloth, and looked at the item comments. Seems they have some good suggestions there.

Check it out.

Felcloth drops only off of high level Satyrs (demons). The best place for this is probably in Northern Felwood; the droprate is a bit low, but they drop money and Runecloth too, so it's not a complete waste. Or try Azshara; there are a bunch of Satyrs there as well. Or buy it off the AH. Another option is the merchant imp Viel in WInterspring; he sells two pieces (80s each) in a limited quantity (not sure what the respawn time is; thanks to Zornov with this tip :-D). Felcloth is not considered actual cloth; you can't make bandages out of it, and it is a rare drop.

But i have got it off of legioneers(The Big blue guys) as well as other demons in the tainted scarr such as dreadlords or doomguard commanders(better bring some freinds if you want theese guys) and the Hederine demons of winterspring, realy just about any high level demon can drop it, but if you are farming it up in WS, concider gettting some form the shady dealer that lives in the cave, it is limited supply and heavly camped but buying some never hurt.

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised to see this drop off the satyrs in Dire Maul East - we got several pieces in a quick run the other night.

Northern felwood is really the best place. Felcloth drops rather frequently, they drop decent amount of gold, vendorable items, Good chances for Dark runes to either use or sell well, and you can always collect tubers/ndbs while doing it. Granted tubers/ndbs arent quite as usefl as they once were, but I still use my ndbs all the time.

The problem with farming felcloth in Azshara (sp?) and Felwood is that those spots are heavily camped. A level 60 of pretty much any class can farm those camps fast. When you think about the number of "farmers" on a server, then think about the number of legit tailors farming for themselves, then think about others who realize that the satyrs are ideal mobs to farm due to decent drops/money/cloth, and lastly consider the amount of total satyr camps, you might find it a bit difficult to compete (and if you're on a PvP server hehe... best of luck... I always farm herbs in felwood and always stop to gank people in the satyr camps). Sadly, these are the best places to farm felcloth, despite the fact that it does drop in other places (off higher level elite demons and such). The good thing is, you only need 2 pieces every 4 days!
