I was wondering if there's a specific place where the recipe for
"Deviate Delight" drops? I have a 31 undead rogue and a 22 tauren druid.

if you do a search for the recipe a lot of people follow in their posts to saw that the savannah prowlers (I believe) tend to drop them -- although still not very often, and some have gotten one a kolkar centaur. I was better off just buying the recipe for 3g in the AH and then making about 20g by selling the cooked deviate delights... and now the market is flooded with them (damn bots).

I got both of my recipes from killing turtles in the Oases. Learned one, sold the other.
I also got 2 dropped around (I believe) the Stagnant Oasis, the most northern one in any case.
After numerous mass killings in the Barrens with different level 60 characters over several months I finally gave up on looting it. The recipe usually sells for 30+ gold on my server. But I just recently found it for 19 gold on the neutral AH. So I bought it. I’ve not really made any money from it but I have had fun eating the fish.
I got it off something in The Barrens, I believe it was a Kolkar or a Harpy.
Least Thottbot says that MOST of Barrens creatures have change to drop it, thou im Alliance... Since i found Schools of Deviate fishes, i fish a stack 10 times faster... Sell for 70s minium per fish (usually no one complains the price) And i earn 14 gold, maybe some extra from 30 min having fun in Barrens running around in my pervert fishing costume...
But then i fished up 40, cooked and tried to sell until i found some freaking bot users selling them 30s cheaper than mine >;(
Damn i had hard time to get rid of those 40...

at most, you'll see a 0.05%-0.08% drop off of mobs in the barrens. Highest is 0.12% off of other mobs elsewhere, according to allakhazam. Had two drop for me in 30 minutes off of kolkar bloodchargers, extremely lucky IMO. Was not even looking for the drop.^^ But luckily my cooking was at 85 and now I make them, and my girl got the other recipe.

I bought my recipe for quite the premium (20G) in the AH. I've since earned over 400G selling the Deviate Delights in the AH. I usually sell a 20-stack for 12G-15G. If someone undersells me I just let them and then when there aren't any in the AH I put mine back up.
I once got two recipes in half an hour. It was pretty cool; my server at that time was selling the for 50G lol. Sold mine for 25, which was pretty good for a level 16.
Ya..this recipe is a pain to find or purchase (seeing as my main is level 20), luckily I was doing the guns of northwatch quest and it dropped off one of the marines. Last place I expected it to be...lol
