Hey, everyone, I'm a 46 Rogue with 300 skinning and 240 mining. I'm trying to make as much money as possible because, let's face it, some things are just easier that way. Anyway, as a skinner, I'm constantly getting pieces of hide. Before I dropped Leatherworking for mining, I could cure it and either use it or sell it for a lot more than just the hide. Would it be rude to ask a leatherworker to cure my hide if I provided the mats? If they ask for a tip, what would be reasonable?

The best idea is to strike up a deal with a fellow LW. That way he will cure the majority of your hides. It can end up getting him a more consistent flow of money while you might actually be able to save some as you can work out a cheaper deal since he would be doing it for you more often.
