hi im new to wow and i was just wondering what happens to an item if you disenchant it.
do you lose the item or do you keep the item only it is worse than before.
plz answer if you know.

You lose the item. Also, once you disenchant it, you cannot "cancel" it and not take whatever gets disenchanted; you lose the item as soon as it finishes.
