#1 Jul 17 2006 at 7:25 PM Rating: Default
holy s*** tailoring is so GOD DAMN ANNYOING did u notice that for the bolts it goes 2 for linen, 3 for wool, 4 for silk, 5 for mageweave, and 6 for runecloth

its so annoying cant they just do like 2 or 3 mcloths for 1 bolt holy s***

And what i dont understand is that this is tailoring not leatherworking so i dont understand why we need leather for making our armor thats really b****y and its also like wasting our money on things that we barley need.

Wow i never thought of it as that hard to get cloth. You dont even have to find it.

Just go kill a ton of humanoids and suffer - *since is so unbearable. Personally i know it has to be the EASIEST profession to gather for IMO.

Just remember when you pick up a profession like herb or mining - if someone else takes your node you cant just go kill another humanoid for it. You have to move on and find another OR you have to wait for the node to respawn.

Mining is the same way - If you want to smelt dark iron it takes like what? 6 bars of dark iron. And they arent easy to come by.

There is no reason to swear if you DONT LIKE IT pick another profession.

dumbass
if your going to trash talk a profession at least do a _little_ research...
how much leather do you need? maybe 10 light/medium/heavy/thick total? omg mate that's like 2 gold down the drain T.t
and no, it doesn't go 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 pc /bolt, it's 2, 3, 4, 5, >>5<<
since you're probably level 9, i suggest you kill some more hooman in perhaps goldshire... easy linen GG

How about you just unlearn the profession now? It's really not that hard to tailor and it's even easier to quit it.

If you’re getting as upset over tailoring as it sounds like you are, I would recommend that you drop it. We play this game to have fun. If you’re not having fun then you need to try something else.

As for tailoring, it really is one of the easier production professions. If you have such issues with tailoring I would recommend you never try enchanting.

<cringes @ enchanting>

I made it up to lvl 145 enchanting and am just dreading getting it up higher -- it is just too damn expensive, lol.

but yeah, tailoring really isn't too tough. If you need linen go outside orgimmar and farm the harpies (good for leveling at a low level too), then do the razormane people, etc later on. It isn't too difficult, although I will say that skinning has to be the easiest gathering profession.

LOL....ok I love professions and have leveled all of them. So being one who likes to do them I guess I don't completely understand. But coming from a person who has done them all.. Tailoring is by far one of the simplest.

The hardest I have found is engineering due to how many mats you need to collect, create etc to makle items. Like having to mine ore to smelt and make one thing to make such and such and then finally combine that with 10 other things that require the same list of tasks to get your final project. And engineers not only have to collect ore, but leather, gems, cloth and I think a few other oddball things.

Enchanting is an easy profession if combined with something to help level it, like tailoring.

If I were you I would check out some of the powerleveling guides. Specifically the ones that do not focus on buying Mats. I rarely buy mats, but I am able to go 1-300 in about 2 days in any given profession without buying the mats, or exhausting my banks. The guides that discuss how to cheaply powerlevel give great ideas for where to farm particular mats, and what to create in what order to maximize your efficiency. Obviously you may want to change the order a bit to make sense for you and what you have available or if you are going to use a particular item. But I know for myself, I literally made runecloth belts and mooncloth til I hit 300. Which in turn we DE'd to hit 300 enchanting.

Good Luck, and if your looking for a low cost and less intensive profession. try skinning. There are tons of beasts in the world to kill while leveling.

For enchanting...its easiest matched with tailoring. I don't know if that is your other profession. But check this out:

These are some guides I compiled while a GM.
