Im just wondering if there is a sertain race that is better for enchanting

currently no, none of the races have a racial that makes them better at enchanting.
one of the new BC races does have +15 or so to enchanting, but can't remember which one, it's subject to change, and probably not a good enough reason to choose one race over another.
Or as I like to see it, any race can make it to level 5 and disenchant as well as any other race. :-)

I here a lot of people say that enchanting is really difficult at high levels ot get things like soul dust and astral essence. I had first made a hunter that was very good at leatherworking and skinning (i atleast brought him high enough to make several hillman's leather). I just had him go to Stonetalon Peaks and head west of the lake in the middle. There are lots of harpyies and basilisks and a few pridewings.(this is where i got tailoring and enchant supplies for alt). It is not the best place for leather but to complement tailoring with enchants i say its one of the best places. I just made Hillman's Shoulders and i would get some nice osul dust and astral essence.
