Im making a shaman and was wondering what i should take for my professions... I was thinking about mining/blacksmithing but im up for suggestions... im not trying to make much money through this either
If you are selfish, and want to make useful things, go Herbalism/Alchemy or Mining/Engineering. These professions help the owners with consumables.
If you wanted money, go with gathering skills.
If you're nice and want to help your guild, ask what they don't have, and then become it.

Read the sticky. Class really does not matter when choosing trade skills. "Best for a warlock" is generally the same as "best" for a warrior, or a mage, or...etc. Choose two gathering skills and add in fishing, cooking, and first aid.
