Places to learn skinning from in DM?Follow

Where in Dun Mourgh (sp?) can you find the person(s) to learn skinning and tailoring? I've found the cooking and fishing, but not skinning. I am trying to get 2 thick bear furs and I don't think that's possible without the trade skinning. I just started playing WoW for the first time yesterday.

First rule of thumb is to ask a guard. He should tell you skinning is in Ironforge. I'm uncertain of the tailoring trainer, but a npc guard should be able to tell you.

Thick Bear Furs drop off bears. No skinning needed. And I think the skinning trainer is in IF.

If you are doing a quest for an item, said item should be obtainable without the use of any particular trade skill.

For example, when you get to Southshore you’ll find a quest that asks you to gather, I think ten, yeti furs. These furs will, eventually, drop as loot. The same holds true for the yeti quests in Feralas. No skinning skill is required.

Ok thank you all. I found the skinning that I heard was best for mages, and was able to complete the quest. Now I am just sucking at killing the bears and rat guys. Thanks again for all of your information. I never knew that the guards provided information like that.
