blackmouth spots?Follow

#1 Jun 27 2006 at 9:11 AM Rating: Decent
Hi all,
I'm sure this might have been covered somewhere down the line but after a quick look i couldn't find much. I'm looking for some good spots to find pools of blackmouth oilies. I'm a horde character (on a pvp server) and the only good spot i can think of is around darkshore but due to the amount of alliance in the area it doesn't really work for me. Any other good spots for these fish? Perhaps with some floating wreckage in the area? btw i'm lvl 38. Thanks in advance.

Go to Ratchet, and head south along the coast. There is a surprising amount of schools there.

I went there in the morning once (around 10 AM server time) and I literally ran into at least 7 or 8 schools of Oily Blackmouth.

Too bad I didn't train in fishing yet for my alt...

I was on a lowbie alt in Westfall and found two schools of them around that wrecked ship with the murlocs on it, I normally wouldn't suggest this but on my server the other night I was running through Westfall and saw about three Horde fishing where I had found the schools. If you want some fun with your fishing try that, otherwise Ratchet is the goldmine for Blackmouth.

as Klepto said, just go to Ratchet and go up and down the coast. You will find a lot of pools of oily's and then also some floating debris/wreckage farther north. You can fill up your bags in a couple hours or so if you keep moving and get a bit lucky.

Actually, there is a spot IN Ratchet itself, just North of the dock, where an Oily pool often forms. I find it about 3/4 of the times I go there.
