confused about high lvl leatherworkingFollow

Ok I am at 200 leatherworking and I am starting to look at high level patterns. I have been seeing some patterns saying things like Requires Level 300 leatherworking Requires Elemental leatherworking (or tribal or dragonscale). I want to make all of them but I havent bought any patterns becasue I am confused. So here is where my title comes into play: can I get all three of the leatherworkings (elemental, dragonscale, and tribal) or can I only get 1 or what? Thanks in advance! =)

No you cannot get them all, you have to pick one and stick with it. You can change but you start back at lvl 1 leatherworking.

Here we go again... At 225 leatherworking you can get the artisan level of the profession at the Horde camp in Feralas. She teaches you like 15 recipes, like turtlescale armor and nightscape armor. After that, it's all dropped patterns. Also at 225 skill, you can choose dragonscale leatherworking, elemental leatherworking, and tribal leatherworking. You can only choose one at a time. Dragonscale is using skinned/bought dragonscales to create mail armor; good for shamen and hunters. Elemental uses elemental reagents dropped off of elemental mobs to create pretty good leather armor; good for rogues. And lastly, tribal has you skinning specific beasts for their skins, and using them to create leather armor which is good for druids.
