Do you think Pristine Hide of the beast is skinners right if it comes by skinning? Like... In BRD no one wants to roll for miners Dark Iron ores.

No way; PHotB is a free roll. If you're afraid of other people getting it, then just refuse to skin in the first place. You need 9 other people to get there; it's a very rare drop, but it should be rolled on (NEED ONLY) by everyone in the group.
Try keeping Bloodvine/Gems in ZG and squirreling them away from your guild. Try keeping cores and core leather in MC, and see what happens. You need a group to get there; just because your trade skill allows you to potentially access the item, it doesn't mean that you have an exclusive right to it; you certainly didn't get that by your 310 skinning skill alone. You needed people to help you get there; they have every right to the roll.

Also, Dark Iron Ore is a bad example. It's all over SG and BS; you don't need to be in BRD/MC to get it.
i'd say that unless specified before the raid, it's the skinner's.
if anyone wants a free roll on it, let them level their skinning to 310 and roll for the right to skin it.
i dropped my 300 skinning for mining before ever having the chance to skin it, but i had planned on giving everyone in the raid 20-30g if it dropped and i skinned it.

20-30g!? Are you nuts!! Even with 10 people in your raid, that hide is worth way more than 200-300g! It is the one thing that holds most people back from getting their epic armor piece from the quest. The reason why the Finkles Skinning Knife drops in there is to give the group a chance to get the Hide.
This is an extremely rare drop. I've done UBRS at least 50x and have not seen it once. Out of all the people I've been with, probably at least 200 of those 500 people have had the quest.

It's not being selfish or anything to bring a skinner into the group to skin the hide to pass it off as loot. Unfortunately, that's the way the quest works.

no... not nuts... last i heard, photb was worth 500-600g on my server, so that would be basically paying the raid half of the value.
part of the reason i picked skinning was for the chance at getting photb, part of the reason i dropped skinning was because of this endless circular argument about it, and partly because the epic cloak it's used to craft isn't as epic as some of the other more easily obtained epic cloaks, and partly because mining was better suited to gathering mats for crafted gear and arcanite xmutes.
no joke, two days after i dropped skinning, finkle's dropped from the beast and i had not a pang of regret about it.
