Start fishing Deviate Fish in The Barrens, they sell quite good on AH.

just spend your time farming leather and ore.

if you can find a nice place for iron around your level go for iron as it will level you up and on my server it goes for 3-6g a stack (check your AH first though). i can't remember if there is much in the way of iron in areas suitable for you but you can always farm for copper too. copper was 2g a stack today on my server so still well worth your time (though i wouldn't pay that much for it myself). bronze probably sells well too, just make sure you check the price of selling copper/tin separately first so you don't rip yourself off.

i'm not sure about skinning but if you can find a place where you can do a mining round then kill/skin while you are waiting for the minerals to respawn you should be making money pretty quickly.

If you are really desperate and have a good starting chunk of change then you can scout the AH and pick off low priced blues and resell for 20g or so profit. My buddy makes 100-200g per day if he does this I just don't have the patience.

Forget Deviates. Get your fishing to at least 225, go Steemweedle Port in Tanaris, put on +75 lure, fish off dock. Sell all your stonescale eels.

On my server I make 20g or so a stack of 20. Last night kinda ******** around it took me 1 hour 23 mins to get 20. I usually do it in 45mins to 1 hour. Fish until you get your desired amount of fish, the more you put on the AH the cheaper you will have to make them.

It depends what your "day" consists of. You should have no problem, even with only selling copper, if you can farm for like 8 hours a day. If you can fish, for example, and only get 10 Stonescales per hour, assume you get 7g50s for those 10. Do that for 8 hours a day... you'll be set. That's a CONSERVATIVE guess; most people get 15+ Eels on average per hour, and they sell for like 90s a piece (9 gold for 10).

It's a matter of "how long your day is." I can get around 80-100 copper in an hour, no problem. That's a low end guess. Copper sells around a gold per stack on most older servers... that's at least five gold an hour. Do that for 16 hours over two days, and voila; you've got 80 gold.

It's time, not "days."

Wetlands has good mining for that very difficult Copper --- Tin --- Iron (155, I think) stage. It's a ***** to get to the iron level, but once you do, you skill up fast. The spider cave in the wetlands is great for that. You can skill up fishing anywhere, but must be above 35 to get over level 225 base skill. But 225 skill and lures will catch you stonescales... look at the trade skill sticky, that's what it's there ^_^;

Edit: Somehow I wrote Red Ridge instead of Wetlands as the location of the spider cave. The hell? Red Ridge is also good to find tin, but Wetlands is better, IMO

The spider cave is just north of the path into the Wetlands from Loch Modan (the area is called Dun Algaz).

I've found 1000 Needles as a good place for copper/tin/iron. There are lots of nodes of all three.

Regarding fishing, It's fairly easy to get to 100 in any of the newby areas. Get to 225 fishing in The Wetlands, though. You'll make money by selling Oily Blackmouth and Firefin Snapper at the AH, and raise your cooking with Rainbow Fin Albacore.

Umm, why? Did someone place a RMT order that you can't keep up with? I'm all for looking for the best ways to earn gold, but who needs X amount of gold in X amount of days? Sounds shady to me.

Could be that someone's selling him something but put a time limit before it goes to auction, or even a bet.
