My mining is now at 265 and I need a lot of truesilver and small throium to level it up to 275. I checked on thottbot.com and the zone it gave me with loads of truesilver is Burning Steppes. I went there for about half hour and only found 3 mithril and 1 truesilver. Is this consider a lot or there are better places?
At best, truesilver deposits are rare and have poor respawn times. finding even one is an accomplishment.

Burning Steppes IS a good place for (rich)Thorium. Too good that it's a constantly farmed area. When you get there, do a /who to see how many level 60 rogues are running around. Then have the joy of one of them running straight up to a node your mining and start on it too.
Truesilver is random and infrequent, just hope you come across it.
Ungoro is a great alternative to find both small Thorium and Truesilver.

Truesilver is a rare spawn of mithril and thorium nodes - you will occassional find it anywhere one of those nodes spawn, but you can't really farm for it except by farming all the mithril and thorium nodes you find and hoping one will occassionally respawn as truesilver.
Un'goro crater is my favorite spot for thorium, and there is sufficient mithril there that making several passes should net you at least some truesilver. There are also rich thorium veins in teh southwestern section which will yield the occasional arcane crystal for a burst of cash, once your mining reaches that level. If your character is a little low to safely run through Un'Goro, try Tanaris or Searing Gorge.

I would say Searing Gorge is your best bet. You may also be able to mine dark iron ore (I don't recall the level), which is both useful and marketable.
