Profession Color QuestionFollow

#1 May 26 2006 at 11:59 AM Rating: Decent
I am confident that this has been answered but I'm to lazy to find it :P.
What does the color of the writing of what you can make mean?
(Orange to Grey)
I know that it changes color with with your level of the profession and from the website when it changes color, but I still don't know what it means.

If you could clarify it, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in Advance.

The color represens you position on the learnign curve of said item.

Orange=almost a garureneee of a skill up(i thought it was, but apperntly in gather skills it is only a "Realy good chance"

Yellow=Very likely that you will get a skill up

Green= you may get a skill up out of ever 2-3 you "Produce"

Grey= time to find a new way to raise your skill, becasue this item is not doing it.

Thank you. I was wondering why some of my items were not giving me skill points.

Also, it seems that where your skill is in relation to a color effects the skill-ups too. For example, if an item just turned yellow, you'll have a better chance of a skill-up compared to when it's just about to turn green.

Digging for the link now, but that is not the case, only color determines skill up possiblity, weather it just truned yellow or you have made 6 since changing yellow , the chance is the same on skill up.

will edit post when I find it, keep in mind this was posted by CM's over a year ago.

I hate to post a link to WowWiki, but they have a good example of the table i am working to find on a Bliz sight
