My sincerest apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but after some time of searching, I couldn't seem to find it. Where might the schematic for the Gnomish Mind Control Cap be? Is it taught by a trainer or what? If this is the case, my sincerest apologies. Also, I was slightly confused on this fact: At level 20, as a gnome, my Engineering cap would be at 240, would it not? And in that sense, I'd be able to make/use a Gnomish Death Ray. Which brings up my main issue. Which trainer teaches this, and where? Any info on the subject would be greatly appreciated. (Inclusion of which trainer allows me to specialize in Gnomish Engineering would be most helpful as well.) Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Take care.

Well it would seem that you are gnomihs spec(dont realy have to be to use the MC hat), or you have not chosen a spec. The trainer you seek is in Booty Bay, he will only teach folks who have chosen Gnomish spec, and unfortuanly I thought you had to be level 35 for that, but I could be wrong, even without a spec, you could use it.
Correct, 225(Expert level cap)+ 15(gravy bonus to being a Gnome)=240.
As said a death ray may not be a choice, it is BoP and requres a quest activated trainer. Yet, You can buy a MC helmet, or a Net-o-Matic,rocket boots.
